Triumph and Lulu toe plates are designed to prolong the life of leather-soled shoes. The protective plates prevent permanent damage from occurring when normal wear compromises the welt attaching the sole to the shoe. Triumph plates are available in heat-treated carbon steel, brass-plated and solid brass. Lulu plates are made of similar steel as well.
